The creation of a Web Design portfolio

Before you touch your computer first then think carefully about what you put on your portfolio. Give a clear picture of what you can, but also to give qualities not know where you sit. You bet that fool you as you pretend you've created a website as you only have the beginning along with a specific logo. You must not do better than you are.

Think about your audience. When you're focused on creating a business website, then no alternative to show images and text. And that of course also true vice versa. So you live in, in the audience that you are controlling.

On the home page (index.htm) introduce yourself. Who are you and what you can. Be clear and provide no superfluous information. But you certainly do not lack. Keep it simple, go with a variety of Flash animations and banner put gently on the page. That really hit visitors not to be impressed. What is of great importance on this page is a clear navigation. Make it work, because then your visitors can find what they are looking for.

When you fill your portfolio, go for thumbnails of sites you created, but let these small plates also link to the real site. Place in the thumbnails clear information about the command that it heard. Give a clear objective of your way of working on the site applied. Without you too much in detalis occurs because there is not anyone as much as a site you want to make.

The worst thing is a website which links up who do not work. Check this as often as possible, because for a web designer is of course a mortal sin. What is not working or still under construction, there link you just do not go.

When you have little time, there are Web sites that you work from hands with them. you can lose this your portfolio. Take for example a look at WEBDESIGNORIENT.COM.
