Architecture Forum

Under the agreement that the user is the creator of the content and that the community is everything in Web 2.0, I would like to rescue the concept of forums contribution of value in Web 2.0.

The forums on the Internet accumulate large numbers of people interested in different subjects, I continue to invest much time in forums or Xeoweb Forums Loquo (the latter by Curro). From time to time I get in different forums to see improvements or mistakes that can be given and I think it would be nice to lay groundwork for a proper forums:

  1. Never be limited to registered users the option to read messages or to conduct searches (except in forums such as the payment of Blackhat SEO) ... Why will only get? if it's easier to find another that will be recorded.
  2. If you want to differentiate between users, that are not registered publicity.
  3. Advertising on the forums can be done in an elegant way, google gives you guidelines for the design and forums are places with a lot of content. But it is important to make sure that the google hints that users do not write with the density of keywords more "profitable for your web"
  4. The titles and the mod rewrite care should be depending on the title of the post. It would also be interesting to establish "anchor" on the generic terms that encompass the topic.
  5. The content of the forums can be a good place to establish cross-linking with the content of your site. Adds value and access routes to other sections.
  6. Do not accept images in the signing of more than one size tuck a resize ...
  7. Nor accept the post images. That is small and you can see in a new window if the user wants.
  8. All outgoing links with non-forum capados follow.
  9. The summary of thematic threads that have been neglected or at least to the search engines do not forget them.
